Rivers to the Sea does things Maui-style: relaxed and thoughtful. We create a safe environment for you to learn the basics and then go with you to try for yourself. We offer a range of different surf lessons based on your needs and skill level so you can get the most out of each lesson. We’ll go over everything you need to know, from surf etiquette to safety to proper technique and everything in between.

MAUI SURF LESSON INFO
MAUI SURF LESSON PLAN
Your personalized Maui surf lesson includes a 10-15 minute water safety briefing, a demonstration on paddling techniques, tips on how to get into waves, and of course, how to stand and stay standing up! We want you to feel as comfortable as possible on your surfboard prior to getting in the water and this briefing gives you time to ask any surfing related questions you may have.
After paddling out to the break together, your surf instructor will be there to coach and guide you into the waves. Their focus in the water will be on your safety as well as proper wave etiquette, surfing style, technique and having a ton of fun!
ALL INCLUSIVE
Our surf lesson prices include full instruction and everything that you will need to be safe and have fun while you are in the water with us. This includes an expertly trained surf instructor, a long sleeved SPF 150 rash guard, surf shoes, and a state-of-the-art beginner soft-top board. Taxes & fees charged separately. (Please be sure to bring a bathing suit, sunscreen, water and a camera, if desired. Rivers To The Sea will not provide these items.)

SURF PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGE
A professional photographer is available to capture the fun of your surf lesson. Images are available for download via website link, or get on the spot delivery through iPhone AirDrop, so you can share photos instantly on your favorite social media platforms.
Semi Private & Group rate for photos: $25 per person*
Single surfer rate for photos: $40 per person*
We always do our best to have a photographer available for your lesson, but we also recommend that you bring a little camera if desired to capture a few images of your experience just in case our photographer is unable to take photos the day of your lesson.

Tide's local knowledge of the surf and incredible teaching techniques had my kids up and surfing on their first waves!
