Maui Surf School away from the crowds!

Whatever your surfing level, from beginner to advanced, Tide and Kiva Rivers offer one-on-one or small group private Maui surf lessons & adventures created especially for you, your friends and your family. Most of the surf lessons take place on the calmer South Shore of Maui. For advanced surfers, we offer private one-on-one lessons in the bigger surf on the North Shore of Maui (waves & wind permitting). In a world filled with cookie cutter experiences, a morning or afternoon surfing with two Maui born and bred surfers is an Experience to Remember for a Lifetime.

Especially for those of you who may be coming to Maui for the Maui Film Festival at Wailea, it is worth noting that Tide and Kiva are the twin sons of Barry & Stella Rivers, founders and directors of the Maui Film Festival, and serve as the festival's Private VIP Surf Instructors for entertainment A-Listers and captains of industry.

Tide and Kiva Rivers along with the other surf instructors at Rivers to the Sea are all CPR and First Aid certified.
