Group surf lesson includes 10-15 minute water safety briefing, along with a demonstration on best ways to paddle surfboard, get into waves, how to stand up, and stay up! After paddling out together, surf instructor will be there to coach and guide you into the rides of your life! Focus is on correct wave etiquette, style, and technique.

Surfing Level:
Beginner / Intermediate

Lesson Time: 2 hours

Class Size: 4 people per instructor

• Surfboard (soft-tops)
• Long sleeve SPF 50 rash guard
• Surf booties for feet protection

Ideal for couples or those who want to be in smaller groups to have more one-on-one surf instructing time.

PRIVATESURF LESSONS

One-on-one private surf lesson on improving your surfing skills such as catching bigger waves or carving better turns. Depending on surfing level and surf forecast, one or more user friendly surf breaks will be selected 2 days prior to lesson.

Surfing Level:
Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced

Lesson Time: 2 hours

Class Size: 1 person

Equipment Included:
• Surfboard (soft-tops)
• Long sleeve SPF 50 rash guard
• Surf booties for feet protection

Location:
North or South Shore Maui*
*depending on surfing level & waves

Price:
$160 for 1 person (South Shore)
$200 for 1 person (North Shore)

• For fiberglass surfboard rentals, additional rental fees will apply.
• Additional hours can be added to lessons for $70 per hour.
• Payment is handled after the lesson is completed and can be paid by cash or check.
• Tide and Kiva Rivers along with their other surf instructors at Rivers to the Sea are all CPR and First Aid certified.
