GUARDRAILS, South Shore Maui
| Your surf lesson will take place at the south shore surfing beach, “guardrails”, located 5 to10 minutes south of Lahaina & Kaanapali Resorts, and 25 minutes away from Kihei, Makena, & Wailea Resorts. This secluded beach is ideal for beginner and intermediate surfers because of its gentle sloping long waves that break in clear water close to the shore. It also has a white sandy beach with plenty of shade for family members or friends who wish to watch or snorkel along the beach. Driving Directions “Guardrails”: Drive 1 mile south of Lahaina. Your instructor will meet you in the parking lot across from mile marker 19 on highway 30 (Honoapiliani highway). |
